SQL: populate a table column from another table

1. Populate column type in table1 table
2. Select a row with specified values from table2 table
3. "`" are used to mark the reserved words like value, type, etc.
update table1 as x set x.`type` = (select y.id from `table2` as y where y.entity = 'infinite loop' AND y.name = 'type' and y.`value` = 'regular');

My favorite quotations..

“A man should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.
