Checking out Code.Google SVN project to Eclipse

Once you get your project set up in Google Code and you have a link like this one:

1) In Eclipse you open the "Window -> Show View -> SVN Repositories"

2) Click the "SVN +" icon (see arrow below), or right click and add "NEW -> Repository Location"

3) Copy-and-paste the "https://" address from the Google Code page (selected)
4) Use the gmail address as user name
5) Generate the password (see arrow below), select "Remember Password"

6) Switch to your Java perspective and in the "Package Explorer" right click to "Import"

7 ) select "SVN -> Checkout Projects From SVN"

There may be multiple projects in the SVN Repository, but the logic is similar

My favorite quotations..

“A man should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.”  by Robert A. Heinlein
