The good news for Java developers is that Android Operating System may show up on a dozen of phones next year as well as on some other mobile devices like tablets PC.
It might be the beginning of the new era of Java-written client applications.
My interest in Android does not come from the fact that it is better than the iPhone, or Crackberry because it is not, but because all applications in Android are written in Java and of them can be replaced with better working versions.
I believe Android will be everywhere, on all mobile devices; phones, tablets, cameras, and anything else digital. Android after all a solid and very stable Linux-based operating system and just like Mac OS (UNIX) and it can run on any client device as well as on servers if it had to.
